Pipelines & stages
A pipeline is your sales process expressed as an ordered set of stages. Every lead belongs to exactly one pipeline and sits in one of its stages.
Stages and categories
Stages are yours to name and reorder, for example New, Contacted, Qualified, Proposal, Won, Lost. Each stage has a category that tells SpeedIQ what the stage means, so reporting and automations work without matching stage names:
| Category | Meaning |
|---|---|
open | The deal is still in progress. |
won | The deal closed successfully. |
lost | The deal was lost. |
When you drag a lead into a Won or Lost stage, its status updates to match automatically. That is also what powers triggers like “entered any won stage”.
Multiple pipelines
You can run more than one pipeline, for example a Sales pipeline and a Partner pipeline, each with its own stages. One pipeline is the default: new leads with no explicit destination land in its first open stage.
Managing pipelines
Edit pipelines, stages, custom fields, and lost reasons under Settings → CRM. On the pipeline board itself, switch between pipelines with the tabs at the top, and toggle between the kanban board and a list view.
Settings → CRM.
