SMS

SMS runs on Twilio. Choose a sender, manage contacts and templates, send campaigns, chat 1:1, and watch delivery in analytics.

Connecting & senders

Under Settings → SMS, pick a sender and save:

  • Phone number, load an existing number or rent a new one by country.
  • Sender name, a 6–11 character alphanumeric sender (India: exactly 6). Instant in some countries, approval-gated in others, and not allowed in the US/Canada. People cannot reply to a name.

For India (+91), messages go out under your registered DLT sender ID. The same page holds welcome and after-hours auto-replies, business hours, and compliance keywords (STOP / START / HELP) with a “respect unsubscribes in campaigns” toggle. A test-send button is available.

Contacts & templates

SMS → Contacts holds your SMS audience (phone, name, email), each with a consent status and an opt-out flag; import and export via CSV. SMS → Templates are reusable bodies with {{name}} / {{phone}} placeholders.

Campaigns

The five-step wizard sends a chosen template to a selected audience. Send now, schedule, or save as a draft. Sends process in batches of 50 and automatically skip opted-out contacts. The detail page shows per-recipient delivery status (queued, sent, delivered, undelivered, failed) and lets you pause, resume, retry failed, or cancel.

Chats & analytics

SMS → Chats is a two-way inbox; if a contact has opted out, the composer is disabled. SMS → Analytics shows totals, subscribed/opted-out counts, inbound vs outbound, delivery rate, a volume trend, and your top campaigns over 7 / 30 / 90 days.
